Course description

As a parent, wanting to ensure our children are eating in a balanced way can feel incredibly overwhelming, especially if our children don’t enjoy eating new foods, are a ‘fussy’ eater or simply don’t enjoy sitting to eat family meals. As a parent or carer, we can often feel lost knowing that meal times can result in stress and conflict.

This course has been designed to talk through different techniques and ways to try to move forward to ensure your children are getting all the nutrients they need, but without the added stress. We will go through and explain the different nutrients that are needed for a growing body, and then simply ways to try and increase these in a child’s eating pattern. This will be looking at a range of options from quick wins, recipes and some guidance on how to make meal times and food a more positive family experience.

This course is not about how to get your child to eat 10 portions of vegetables a day as the key is to be realistic, but instead to equip you with the knowledge on how to get a balance of nutrients in throughout their day so you know they are getting the best nourishment possible without the worry.
